Our trip to Greece was equal parts walking, learning, laughing, and letting go. We came ready to move – through ancient cities, ruins, museums, and sunlit streets – and Greece met us step for step. Traveling with our dear friends Camilla and Allan, my husband Scott and I followed a rhythm that balanced history with humanity, long days with delicious meals, and the sheer bliss of being on a vacation without having to “figure it all out.” What unfolded wasn’t just a tour of remarkable places, but a collection of small moments stitched together by good company, great guides, tired feet, and the joy of choosing to travel this way.

Myth, Mountains, and the Sea
Sacred sites, seaside swims, alpine villages, and one very charming island.
From standing atop Athens’ Acropolis to wandering the ancient sanctuaries of Delphi, Olympia, Epidavros, and Mycenae, our days moved easily between myth and history. We swapped ruins for sea air on the beaches of Kardamyli, traded sandals for panoramic views in Arachova, and – just to keep things balanced – added a dose of island charm with a carefree (and car-free) escape to Hydra.
